The deadline for the student paper prize has been extend to Friday May 14, 2010.

IASPM-Canada is pleased to offer a prize for the best paper presented by a graduate student at its annual conference. This prize was introduced in 2008 to reward excellence in the work of graduate student members of the organization. The prize is presented at the General Meeting of the conference, and all students presenting papers at the conference are eligible for consideration.

A prize is conferred on the best paper by a graduate student in French, and also on the best paper by a graduate student in English. Interested students should submit their papers for consideration (along with any other materials such as sound files or powerpoint slides) by email to Dr. Jacqueline Warwick, Chair, Student Paper Prize Committee, at jwarwick (at) dal.ca. Other committee members include William Echard (Carleton University), Line Grenier (Universite de Montreal) and Peter Narvaez (Memorial University of Newfoundland). The deadline for consideration is Friday, May 7. The value of each award is $250.

L’IASPM-Canada se réjouit d’offrir un prix pour la meilleure communication produite par un/e étudiant/e aux cycles supérieurs à son colloque annuel. Ce prix a été introduit en 2008 afin de reconnaître l’excellence des travaux des étudiants/tes aux cycles supérieurs membres de l’association. Il est remis lors de l’Assemblée Générale du colloque, et tous/tes les étudiants/tes présentant une communication lors du colloque sont éligibles.

Un prix est donné à la meilleure communication faite par un/e étudiant/e aux cycles supérieurs en français, et aussi à la meilleure communication faite par un/e étudiant/e aux cycles supérieurs en anglais. Les étudiants/tes intéressés/ées devront soumettre leur communication (ainsi que tout autre matériel, tels fichiers audios et diapositives PowerPoint) par courriel à Dr. Jacqueline Warwick, chaire du comité du prix de la meilleure communication étudiante: jwarwick (at) dal.ca.
