Congratulations to Owen Chapman of Concordia University! Chapman was nominated during the nomination period and agreed to allow his names to stand. Considering there were no other nominations, and the nomination period has closed, Owen (Prize Committees Coordinator) has been acclaimed as members of the IASPM-Canada Executive.

Three individuals were nominated for the position of Graduate Student Representative on the IASPM-Canada Executive. Therefore, we will be holding an election for this position. Candidate statements will be posted to the IASPM-Canada listserv and website by 16 July.

The slate for the position of Graduate Student Representative is the following:

• Eric Smialek of McGill University
• Liam Young of the University of Western Ontario

We will be holding the Society’s first online vote for this position, which will begin after 16 July and run until early August. More information on the new voting procedures will be made available soon.
